Celebrate
Recovery
- a Christ-centred
programme for everyone
Why?
What is
Celebrate Recovery?
It is a
Christ-centred programme that is designed to
help people take steps out of their problems and to “recover” life as
God
intended.
What
is involved?
After the teaching, in
single sex groups, questions
from the work sheet or workbooks are discussed to look at how it
affects you personally.
These groups develop a supportive and caring environment
which allows
individuals to open up and to make changes through developing with
Jesus and
each other new ways to live and to enjoy finding out who they really
are.

1 Realise that I’m not God. I admit I am powerless to control my tendency to do the wrong thing and that my life is unmanageable. |

We
admitted we were powerless over our addictions and
compulsive behaviours,
that our lives had become |

6 Evaluate all my
relationships. Offer forgiveness to those who have hurt
me and make amends for any harm I’ve done to others, except when to do
so would harm them or others. |
8 We made a list of
all those persons we had harmed and became willing to
make amends to them all. |
16 Amends |

God to be used to bring this ‘Good News’ to others,
both by my example and by my words. |
