News - Celebrate Recovery Sunday - November 29th
News - Italy Team Returns
John and Margaret, Marleen and Wendy were met at East Midlands Airport by a last minute addition to the team. Emma Wright from Derby who brought with her amongst other things fluent Italian and a car! (Well, car hire anyway:).
At Brescia,
they were collected by Geoffrey Allen and spent an evening of
fellowship with him and his wife Judith. They invited
John and Margaret to visit their
church the next time they visit.
On
Saturday after
exploring the town they ministered at ‘The Ark of God Mission’ speaking
on, ‘His
Unfailing Love’. They prayed for dozens of
people, bringing some prophetic words and other
encouragement.
On Sunday they were taken to the 'Ark' for the morning service, not too long, (only about 3 hours this time). Afterwards, over a meal, they had the chance to get to know Pastor Benjamin Ogierhiakhi, who leads ‘The Wonderful Church of Christ’, also in Brescia.
Monday and it was time to return home, blessed, tired and a few pounds heavier after several wonderful meals. John and Margaret to return next spring. If you are interested in joining them or wish to know more, ask John or Margaret. Contact details through Chris on 07960 002960.
News - Overseas Visit to India
Chris, Liz,
Geoff and Julia returned on Monday 5th October
from their
visit to Visac, Miraj and Thane in India. They were
also accompanied on the
trip by Daniel, a relatively new believer, (who, along with
many others, was
filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues during the trip).
We also saw several people give their lives to Jesus and many healed of various health issues.
Chris did a teaching series on the theme of 'Darkness to Light'. Geoff taught very practically on 'Steps to Healing'.
The believers expressed very much appreciation to the team for their ministry and the Miraj leader has asked for us to come to their Family Camp in October 2010. We have yet to pray about this opportunity but if it goes ahead, there will be opportunities for others to also attend the Family Camp.
