Our Church

What sort of church is this?

We are a group of people from all kinds of backgrounds who are committed to living out the Christian faith in a relevant and practical way and with a strong conviction that God wants to work the kind of miracles that we read about in the Bible.

Our beliefs are similar to the local Church of England, Methodist and Baptist etc. In fact, the other churches in the area are our friends.

We want to reach out to others and share the love of God with them, both through what we are saying and what we do. Our services are a lively expression of how God is vitally relevant to our everyday lives.

Our church is one of a number of ‘community churches’ in the East Midlands, which are linked together by a common vision and leadership.

We are also linked to numerous other ‘community churches’ and ‘Christian fellowships’ in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Added to this, we have strong international connections with churches all over the world.

The church is a member of the Evangelical Alliance which is an umbrella organisation representing well over a million Christians in the British Isles from various denominations.

The Church is not a building, it's people!
